Who We Are
At Andrews Pet Portraits, we know that creating the perfect pet portraits doesn’t come by chance.

I get asked lots of similar questions about the service, so I've put together some useful information. If there's something else you need to know, just ask!

WHAT DO YOU DO?
I create personalised portraits of your pet in any way you wish. Just tell me what you would like me to design and I will make it! Have a look at the sample images to get some ideas about my work.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?
No, I can design absolutely anything you can imagine. Sports personalities, Movie Stars, Job roles, Celebrities, Nobles, Royalty, Film Themes, Funny characters, Music Stars, Renaissance masterpieces... anything is possible. I can add things to the photo as well, e.g. props or a setting. One customer asked me for the Portuguese flag in the background of her portrait. Another wanted a particular footballer.

DO YOU HAVE A CATALOGUE TO CHOOSE FROM?
Unlike other businesses, I'm not tied to templates. All my work is bespoke and designed exactly how you want it. If you’ve seen something that you like elsewhere, send me a photo and I will replicate it. If you are struggling for ideas, why not think about something relevant to you? Perhaps related to the job you do or something you love? A favourite movie or sports team?

CAN YOU DO MULTIPLE PETS IN THE SAME PORTRAIT?
Yes, no problem! The first pet is included but because each pet takes time to work with, there is a small additional charge for multiples. We can agree on the price.

CAN YOU DO ANY TYPE OF ANIMAL… OR EVEN PEOPLE?
Yes, I can even do a mixture of pets and people. I have even personalised cards with just people in a particular way.

HOW QUICKLY CAN I HAVE MY DESIGN?
I offer a FAST turnaround of 1 or 2 days. Great for those last-minute gift ideas.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
I charge a small set price to make the design. As each design is different, the price varies. It just depends on complexity. Contact me to discuss your design and I’ll provide a quote. Typically, my designs are around £20 / $25 USD

WHEN DO I PAY YOU?
Due to the nature of the work, I ask for payment upfront to avoid the risk of non-payment. Payment is due when you commission me to do the work.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE DESIGN?
There are no charges for revisions or even a complete design change (within reason). Each design takes time.

HOW DO I ORDER?
Once you've paid me, all you need to do is tell me what design you would like and then EMAIL me some good quality photo(s) of your pet.

Notes on Photos:
Photos should be Face on (or at a slight angle).
Good quality. Not blurred.
Close shots, not at a large distance across a room,
No screenshots. Screenshots aren’t actual photos, they’re just low-resolution ‘photos’ of photos.
Please try not to use photos taken from Facebook or WhatsApp. Social Media sites and messenger programs compress images, and this affects the size and quality.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
As soon as you’ve emailed me the photos, let me know. I will then confirm I've received them and will get to work. Once I've finished, I will provide you with a preview to get your comments. After that, we can adjust things (if needed) to get it perfect. Once approved, I will email you the finished work.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE ARTWORK AFTER I RECEIVE IT?
This is the fun part. The digital image can be used to make lots of things! Some good ideas are:

CAN YOU DO THAT BIT FOR ME?
Possibly! It really depends on where in the world you are. There's little point in me posting something from the UK to the US when it will be faster and cheaper for you to produce it yourself locally.

WHAT OTHER THINGS DO YOU DO?
I’m a graphic designer so I customise lots of things – word clouds, flyers, business cards, posters, personalised birthday cards, personalised Christmas cards, old photos - scanned, fixed and restored. Keep my details for next time.
